Morning Drop-Off Safety Reminders
During morning arrival, our campus experiences high vehicle volume and significant pedestrian traffic, including students crossing between vehicles and walking through active lanes.
There are multiple blind spots in the drop-off areas that limit driver visibility, especially when parked vehicles obstruct sightlines.
To ensure the safety of everyone on campus:
- No parking is permitted between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM in designated drop-off zones. All lanes (bell tower lanes and flag pole lanes) are used for school drop-off, and parking in a lane obstructs the flow of traffic. If you are parked in a designated drop-off/pick-up zone, you will be asked to move your vehicle. We appreciate your cooperation in promptly moving your vehicle.
- If you would like to walk your child in between the hours of 7:00 and 8:00 am, please use a designated parking spot in the front parking lot. Please do not use any of the lanes for parking at that time.
- Maintain a speed of 10 MPH or less during these hours
- Keep all lanes clear and moving at all times
- Be alert for students and staff moving between vehicles
- Please refrain from using a cell phone while dropping off or picking up.
