Technology

Middle School

In middle school students begin to take more responsibility for their technology.  Beginning in sixth grade, students are required to bring a family owned laptop to school each day.  This part of our technology program is called "Bring Your Own Device" or BYOD.

Our BYOD program helps students learn to be responsible for their machines as well as their schoolwork, an increasing amount of which involves technology in middles school. Students take their machines home each night to complete assignments and collaborate with their teachers and classmates in a secured environment.

By the end of 8th grade, students have not only mastered the basics of the technology they will encounter when they enter college and the working world, but they have also learned the lessons of digital citizenship in a safe, positive and loving environment.

The technology skills learned at Holy Comforter will set your child apart in the years after graduation.  If you have any questions about technology at Holy Comforter please contact our Tech Department using the form below.
