Come and see what happens in a Holy Comforter classroom! Parents and their 5th grade students are invited to join us on January 21st for an inside peek into our Middle School program.
Morning arrival for our visitors is at 9:15am. Parents will meet for a brief morning discussion led by Amy Vernon, Head of the Middle School - a live stream option will also be available. You’ll learn about the changes to expect in Middle School and how our program uniquely assists children in making these necessary transitions through adolescence while preparing them for success in High School and beyond.
Students will join with other 5th graders who will be visiting Middle School classes, and then share their experiences over lunch (provided). Other fun activities will follow in the afternoon, including a peek into our elective classes and a 6th grade panel Q and A!
Though this is a very different year, we know the value of this experience for our 5th grade students. We are making every effort to offer this opportunity in a safe, socially distanced manner. Students will be masked, distanced while indoors, and will only interact with 5th grade students and Middle School/Lower School faculty (current Middle School students will not be in the classrooms while 5th graders are visiting). If you have any questions about the protocols, please contact the Admissions Office. *If your child cannot attend or if you would like the link to the live stream discussion with Mrs. Vernon, we would love to have you join us to learn about the program! Please reach out to Nena Martinez at nmartinez@hces.org. Registration is necessary so that we can make Middle School class schedules for our guests and maintain a safe distance. Please use the form on this page to register. This event is FREE and open to the public. If you have questions or if you would like to know more, please contact Nena Martinez, Director of Admissions at nmartinez@hces.org or 850-383-1007.
