Summer Camp

COVID-19 Summer Camp Update

Camp Crusader is currently full. Please contact Jim Bentley if you would like to be added to the waiting list or if you have any questions.

Camp Crusader will be open this year, but with several changes to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers and staff. The camp will begin on June 15th and will run for 6 weeks. Our plan is to train our camp staff prior to this date in order to ensure that safety procedures are in place. We will be limiting camp offerings to only Holy Comforter families this year and limiting spaces available so that social distancing practices can be part of our everyday program and to ensure the safety of our students and counselors. We have reduced the number of campers per counselor ratio to 9:1 and will be mapping out our physical campus in the coming weeks. Regretfully, we are unable to offer our preschool summer camp this year (available to 3 and 4 year olds) due to space restrictions and the ability to maintain social distancing. We sincerely apologize for this change. The camp will be open to rising Kindergarten through rising 5th grade families.

We are currently monitoring the situation and hope to be able to offer sports camps beginning the week of June 15th with our Baseball / Softball Camp. At this time, we will be canceling all indoor sports camps, including basketball and volleyball. We will be looking into offering additional outdoor sports camps to take the place of those that are being canceled. Information will be shared as it becomes available.
Our intent is to offer a safe and healthy camp experience for all of our children. We will schedule a required parent meeting prior to the first week of camp so that all expectations are communicated and questions regarding camp are answered.  We apologize in advance if a session is full and you are unable to sign up. Space is limited.
In addition, we will be evaluating the safety of summer camp throughout the summer as new recommendations and guidelines are made available by the CDC and local, state and federal agencies. Therefore, changes in the summer camp schedule and offerings may happen throughout the summer.
If you choose to participate in summer camp this year a new camp agreement will be sent to you, acknowledging the changes.

Welcome to Camp Crusader!

Our Summer Camp program carries on the mission of the school day in a more relaxed atmosphere. “Kids can be kids” and experience joy, playfulness and growth in a safe environment.

My son really enjoys the different themes and options each week and has tons of fun learning new things and meeting new kids!"
