Summer Camp 2021 General Information

Camp Crusader is happy to announce that we will bring back PreK Camp this year. 3 and 4-year-olds will be able to attend camp with reduced numbers and safety measures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers and staff. We will be limiting PreK camp offerings to only currently enrolled Holy Comforter students this year and limiting spaces available. We will be opening up Camp Crusader (K-5th) to the community and limiting the numbers so that social distancing practices can be part of our everyday program and to ensure the safety of our students and counselors. The camp will begin on June 1st and will run for 8 weeks.

Our intent is to offer a safe and healthy camp experience for all of our children. We apologize in advance if a session is full and you are unable to sign up. Space is limited.

In addition, we will be evaluating the safety of summer camp throughout the summer as new recommendations and guidelines are made available by the CDC and local, state and federal agencies. Therefore, changes in the summer camp schedule and offerings may happen throughout the summer.

Our Summer Camp program carries on the mission of the school day in a more relaxed atmosphere. “Kids can be kids” and experience joy, playfulness and growth in a safe environment.

Our summer day camp for children in the community in PK3 – 8th grade. Each week campers experience a new theme and various interests to provide a unique, high quality experience. The themes include a wide range of activities. In addition to the daily themed activity, children also enjoy arts and crafts, outdoor games, playground time, cooking, and much more.

Camp Crusader at Holy Comforter Episcopal School is once again offering a positive, safe, fun environment for your kids to experience some amazing programs and make some awesome memories! Camp Crusader is staffed with Role Models who are excited to bring you activities like capture the flag, arts & crafts, kickball, ping pong, team building, and many more.

Themes: We will have fun themes like Under the Sea, Super Spy, Groovy Disco!, Neon and more!

Week 1: Under the Sea (June 1 - June 4)

Get ready to make a big splash as we dive under the sea this week! We’ll join the dolphins and turtles under the water as we explore their home and learn more about our friends that live under the sea.
Week 2: Fantastic Fair (June 7 - 11)

Welcome to our Fantastic Fair! Grab your ticket for some fun games, crafts, sideshows and more. Join us and see what other activities we have in store.
Week 3: Super Spy (June 14-18)

Calling all secret agents and spies! We have top-secret missions and mysteries that need to be solved and we need your help!
Week 4: Groovy Disco! (June 21 - June 25)

Get ready to boogie on down to camp with us for a week full of bell bottoms, mirror balls, and your grooviest moves!
Week 5: Into the Wilderness (June 28 - July 2)

Who's ready to have s'more fun at camp exploring our beautiful outdoors! Join us for hikes, camping skills, and how to make fun out of the outside!
Week 6: Stars & Stripes (July 6 - 9)

Happy Birthday, USA! Everything will be red, white, and blue as we celebrate our country this week and learn how to be American patriots. Note: Camp Crusader will be closed Monday, July 5th.
Week 7: Neon! (July 12 - 16)

Let's glow crazy! Join us this week for some vibrant fun. We will experience some glow-in-the-dark days and some electrifying crafts!
Week 8: Endless Summer (July 19 - 23)

If only summer could last forever! Say goodbye to summer bliss and hello to the new school year as we wrap up summer camp with some of our favorite activities. We will celebrate the end of the summer with a camp cookout at the end of the week!
