• If I have a preschool student, how do I order their lunch?

  The PK students will also get to enjoy FLIK lunches. Their lunches will need to be pre-ordered. The lunch menus will be available on holycomforter.flikisdining.com. At the beginning of each month, the daily lunch order form will be available online by week for the month. The daily order forms are located at the top of this webpage under PK Lunch Order Form. Orders for lunch must be submitted the school day before at noon. For example, Monday lunch orders will be due the Friday before at noon. If you make an error on your lunch order or your child is absent, please contact the front desk at 850-383-1007.

   

  The following meal deal options are available for your student.

   

  1)         Hot entrée with daily sides

  2)         Turkey & cheese sandwich with chips and a fruit

  3)         Peanut butter & jelly sandwich with chips and a fruit

   

  The drink options are 2% milk or chocolate milk.

   

  PK3 will eat in their classrooms while PK4 will go across the Colonnade to eat in the Commons.

   

  Your My School Bucks account will not be charged until the day the child eats. It is not charged when the order is made.

• How much money should I put on my child’s account?

  Money for the lunch account will be uploaded through the My School Bucks website or app. The maximum amount you can add to your child’s account is  $150. If you choose not to put the maximum amount on your child’s account, $50 is suggested as a minimum amount. Please fund the account by the first day of school. If you do not plan to purchase lunches through FLIK at this time, we encourage you to still create an account. You may fund it later if the need arises.

• What if I can’t remember my child’s PIN?

  Each student has a FLIK PIN assigned uniquely to them. Their PIN can be located on the students’ contact card on the student’s profile page. The student will use their PIN at the register to pay for their lunch. Please help your student memorize their PIN.

• What happens if I have money on my child’s account at the end of the year?

  If your child is returning, the lunch balance rolls over to the next year. If your child graduates, you will have the option to transfer your graduate’s balance to a younger sibling, contribute to the annual fund, or be refunded. For those students leaving at the end of the school year, if your child’s balance is less than $10, it will be contributed to the annual fund and you will receive credit for the donation.

• How to set up a My School Bucks account?

  To set up a My School Bucks account:
  

  • Go to www.myschoolbucks.com
  • Select Florida from the list of available states
  • For District, select Holy Comforter Episcopal School
  • Enter your contact information
  • Create a login ID and password
  • Add your child to the account by entering their name and date of birth

  Account features include:

  • Check account balance
  • View Café purchases
  • Set up automatic payments
  • View payment history
  • Low balance notification

  My School Bucks charges $3.25 per transaction. Instead of paying the service charge per transaction, you can purchase a membership option called One Pay. The membership charges a set for a calendar year and you can add money to your account as often as you would like without paying any additional transaction fees. The membership cost is $12.95 for one child or $26.95 for two children or more. You can only pay for the membership with an e-check and not a credit card.

• What if I have an allergy or special dietary need?

  FLIK believes in a customized approach to serving students with special dietary needs. Schools receive support from registered dietitians regarding training, operation management and communication to ensure safety. Contact Chef David to discuss options available at flikdining@hces.org.

• Do you offer an annual meal plan?

  Yes, the school offers a meal plan for the year. The meal plan provides a discounted lunch price. You have the options of paying at one time through check or credit card or monthly through Blackbaud Tuition Management account. The meal plan includes one lunch meal deal daily. It does not include any additional a la carte items. My School Bucks will need to be utilized to pay for the additional items. The meal plans are non-transferable. Refunds are not provided for meals purchased before buying the annual meal plan or unused meals.

• If I buy an an annual meal plan, will the money paid be included on the My School Bucks account?

  No, the money will not be included on your My Schools Buck account. At the register, the cashier selects the “Prepaid Lunch” button which has no price associated with it and is to track the number of lunches.
