Back to School Events

Tuesday, August 4th
  • 2nd - 8th grade Pizza and Play in the Courtyard for new families, 6-7 pm. A separate invitation will be mailed.
Thursday, August 6th
  • PK3 Orientation located in the PK3 classrooms in building 8 at 6 pm (adults only)
  • PK4 Orientation located in the PK4 classrooms in building 8 at 6 pm (adults only)
  • K Orientation located in the Library at 6 pm (adults only)
  • 1st Orientation located in the Library at 5:30 pm (adults only)
  • 6th-grade Orientation located in the Commons at 6 pm (adults only)
Saturday August 8th
  • PK3 - 1st grade Party on the Playground for new students 9-10 am Playground by cul-de-sac. A separate invitation will be mailed.
 
Monday August 10th
  • PK3-5th grade class lists posted at 4 pm - Log in to www.hces.org and click on “News Feed” to view the class lists
Tuesday, August 11th
  • PK3-5th grade Meet the Teacher, 3- 5 pm
  • 6-8th grade schedules and lockers, 2 - 4:30 pm
  • 6th grade student orientation (students only), 3 - 4 pm
  • Sweet Treat Meet & Greet, 3 - 5 pm, All Families
Wednesday, August 12th
  • 1st Day of School!
  • Woo-Hoo Coffee for all parents in the courtyard, 7:45 - 8:30 am

  • Middle School PE Uniform Link
    All 7th and 8th grade students and those 6th graders taking a sports elective must purchase a P.E. uniform from B&B Sporting Goods. Each uniform will contain one T-shirt and one pair of shorts. The store will close on July 19th for the first round of orders, but will reopen close to the start of school. Any orders shipped to the school will be available for pick-up during locker setup. 

    *Note: Electives will be released in July. 6th graders with a sports elective - If you do not have your uniform by the start of school, there will be a few weeks of grace until the second round of orders is delivered.
