We are very excited to share a special upcoming event with you. Please save the date for Friday, April 16th at 6:00pm!

 

On Friday the 16th we will host our annual Athletic Banquet with a recap of the year and awards for each season. 6th and 7th grade students and families will tune in via Zoom - we encourage you to get together with a friend to make it a special night. ALL 8th grade students will join us in person in The Commons! This is an 8th grade, student-only event. 8th grade parents can join via Zoom to watch the presentations.

 

For 8th Grade Families: The evening will begin with a slideshow followed by a live presentation of athletic awards broadcast from The Commons. 8th grade students who did not participate in sports this year are encouraged to attend. After the awards, 8th graders will enjoy a teen-friendly meal in The Commons (menu selections will be made available in advance). At 7:00 pm, we will move to The Commons Courtyard where the DJ will spin the 8th graders' favorite tunes for their final HCES Middle School Dance. As usual, there will be refreshments at the dance. We will adhere to appropriate Covid protocols during the different phases of the event. There is NO FEE for this event. 

 

The evening will wrap up at 9:00 pm with pickup at the middle school loop. If you would like to volunteer or help with the dance setup, please reach out to Emily Lockard at elockard@hces.org.

 

As much as we would love to include all middle school students and parents in this on-campus event, we must mitigate the risk as much as possible while attempting to provide enjoyable, memory-making moments for our soon-to-graduate Class of 2021!
