The HCES Athletic Boosters hosted an "Athletic Celebration Cookout" on Friday during the HCES vs Maclay boys soccer game. A huge crowd turned out to watch the two undefeated teams battle back and forth in a classic soccer game. The HCES Crusaders fell behind mid-way through the second half, but battled back to win the game 2-1 in the final 15 minutes of the game.

It was a great day and the boosters raised nearly $700 to support all HCES athletic programs. Many thanks to Paul Mitchell and Booster President, Stephanie McCann, for all their efforts to make the event successful. Go Crusaders!
Both the boys and girls soccer teams head into Christmas break with undefeated records! The girls are 9-0-1 and the boys are 10-0. Games and practices will resume after the break.
The HCES girls basketball team is 5-1 on the season! With a recent victory over NFC, Coach Mills and Coach Theiler have the girls playing sharp team basketball. Their next home game is January 10th.
The boys basketball teams continue to compete against very difficult competition this year. They are battling hard and go into the break with a 3-5 varsity record on the season. Their next home game is also January 10th.
