The Crusaders traveled to Maclay for the City Championships last Friday. Both teams did a great job in the 3K race, despite the scorching heat. The girls team placed 1st, which automatically qualifies the them for state and the boys team came home as runner up!

The girls team placed 1st, which automatically qualifies the girls for states. This is the third straight year that the girls team has won City Championships under Coach Trent Mills. Katherine Resavage had a stellar day on the course, placing 1st place in the race! Resavage also set the meet record at 11:59:59. The Lady Crusaders had 5 total that placed in the top 10:

Boys team had great success, placing 6 boys in the top 20 of the middle school race. Boys came home as runner up. James Ford placed 4th overall in the race. That placing qualified Ford for state. The boys that placed in the top 20 were:

The Crusaders did a great job and are preparing to travel to Lake City, FL this Saturday September 21 for the Alligator Lake Cross Country Invitational.
