The Board of Regents of the Episcopal Diocese requires that anyone who volunteers in any capacity at Holy Comforter Episcopal School or who chaperones a school-sponsored field trip, must be certified to do so. The Diocesan policy requires re-certification every 5 years and does not accept alternate training or documentation. Only the Diocesan course entitled, “Safeguarding God’s Children” will be accepted. Training or certification previously received through another church, state or law enforcement agency, medical facility or licensing agency, etc., no longer satisfies the Episcopal Diocese requirement.
Parents, grandparents and other approved volunteers may register for the online course using the link below. Please allow for at least 48 hours to receive a login and password for the course.
