As a reminder, Protect Young Eyes will be speaking to 3rd - 5th grade students on Friday, November 14th, regarding technology use in today’s age. Below is an outline of the topics that will be covered with students. This presentation is an extension of the parent presentation taking place on November 13th. All presentations are sponsored by the Keep Climbing Family Foundation.
- Screens: they make us lazy! Be more like a bug and not a slug (Proverbs 6:6)
- Confusing pictures and videos: When I see something confusing on YouTube, what do I do? Put it down and tell someone! (We practice this a lot! Psalm 119:37)
- Tricky People: The internet is full of friends we trust and people we don’t trust, let’s discuss the difference, and when unsure, we put it down and tell someone.
- Our words matter: spoken and typed! (James 3:6)
