Rooted in Family - Grandpeople's Day 2025

Grandpeople are special at HCES, and students look forward to having these individuals visit campus each year. PK3-8th grade students welcome Grandpeople for a day of student performances and classroom visits, as well as refreshments and special activities.

Tuesday, November 25, in the Student Center (gym) for PK3-5th & The Commons for 6th-8th. All students should wear Navy Blue uniform shirts or uniform dresses.
  • 8:30 am: PK3-1st grade performance
  • 9:30am: 2nd-5th grade performance
  • Middle School will meet their Grandpeople at 10:45 am for Bingo in The Commons.
(ONLY middle schoolers and their Grandpeople will be playing Bingo due to space constraints. If there is a Lower School grandchild, they may stay in their teacher's classroom until after Bingo.)
Handicap parking will be available via the Welaunee Road entrance. We will also have golf carts available to transport Grandpeople from the Bell Tower to the Student Center.

We will have light refreshments for Grandpeople, and Grandpeople are welcome to check out their child from school after the performance. As a reminder, Nov. 25th is an early release day.

We look forward to welcoming our Grandpeople on campus!
