A Safe, Fun, and Meaningful

Afterschool Experience

Our Extended Care Programs carry on the mission of the school day in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere. “Kids can be kids” and experience joy, playfulness, and growth in a safe environment.

In the life of a student, balancing academic life and extracurricular activities can be challenging. At Holy Comforter, we strive to provide students with the tools and skills they will need to learn to manage their own time.

Extended Day Program (Omega)

At Holy Comforter Episcopal School, we offer quality care and a safe environment for our students that extends beyond the traditional school hours. The program is divided according to grade levels and offers optional recreational and enrichment activities that strive to meet the needs of the students served. The younger children participate in activities such as arts & crafts, circle time activities, creative play, centers, and outdoor play. The schedules for the older students include homework rooms, outdoor activities, art, and indoor games.

We know that an afterschool program is about more than just keeping kids busy—it’s about providing a safe, engaging, and enriching experience.
Our mission is to offer a place where children can explore new interests, develop essential skills, and have fun while staying safe.

A Wide Range of Activities

One of the things that sets HCES apart is the wide variety of activities we offer, designed to ignite curiosity and spark creativity. We offer enrichment programs to provide opportunities for both individual growth and collaborative learning such as:
In addition to these core activities, we offer creative spaces like building centers, where kids can let their imaginations run wild and create their own designs and structures. These spaces foster the development of problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking.

  • Fostering Teamwork and Collaboration

We believe that learning to work together is just as important as individual achievement. That’s why many of our activities are centered around teamwork and collaboration. Our programs encourage kids to communicate, share ideas, and problem-solve together. Whether it’s building a robot or participating in a team sport, the skills learned through collaboration will stay with them for life.
  • Safety and Support Every Step of the Way

Safety is our highest priority. At HCES, we ensure that every child is in a secure environment where they can explore and learn without worry. Our staff members are trained to provide both physical and emotional support, and we maintain rigorous safety standards to create a comfortable and caring space for all of our students.
  • More Than Just Fun—A Meaningful Experience

We’re committed to providing more than just entertainment—we strive to offer a program that helps children grow, learn, and develop new skills. Whether it’s working through a challenging project in MoLab, discovering new dance moves, or solving problems in robotics, your child will leave each day with a sense of accomplishment and excitement.
