Holy Comforter celebrated and honored our alumni this past week!
On Friday morning, 8th graders were "surprised" with a special graduation breakfast. The event officially welcomes the 8th graders as our newest members of the alumni association and explains the many benefits and privileges of being an alumnus of Holy Comforter. At the breakfast, students received their class shirt and enjoyed donuts together. It's hard to believe they will be graduating in just a few short weeks, but we are so proud of each and every one of them and can't wait to see them exceed as they begin their next adventure into high school!
On Monday evening, we welcomed high school seniors to campus for a very special reunion with their classmates. The HCES 8th grade class of 2012 was greeted by former teachers and enjoyed a traditional chapel service in the church. Following chapel and a little Q & A, alumni seniors and their parents enjoyed a reception where they reminisced watching their 8thgrade slideshow from 4 years ago. Families and students filled the evening with memories, reflecting on their years spent as part of the Holy Comforter family. Before leaving, the alumni visited HCES’ Knight STEM Building for a special tour. The returning students are truly a testament to the Holy Comforter family as they have already achieved such wonderful accomplishments during their high school careers. We wish them all the best and will always welcome them back with open arms. Congratulations class of 2016!
