2016-2017 Athletics - Important Information
As we approach the start of a new year, we encourage all Middle School students to start thinking about joining our Athletic Program. With many teams and activities from which to choose, we want to offer many possibilities for our students to be involved. Sign ups will continue for our Fall Sports through the first week of school.
Below are a few key dates, times, and locations for the upcoming Fall Season:
VOLLEYBALL:
Begins: August 16th 3:15 - 5:00
Location: Student Center (Pick-up will be at the Bell Tower)
Equipment Needed: Knee Pads, Water Bottle, Athletic Attire/Shoes
Volleyball Parent Meeting will be held in the Student Center on Friday, August 19th at 5:00 PM
GOLF:
Begins: August 16th 3:45 - 5:15
Location: Summerbrooke Golf Course (Pick-up will be in front of Summerbrooke Clubhouse)
Equipment Needed: Golf Clubs, Golf Balls, Water Bottle, Appropriate Golf Attire (shirt, shorts, shoes)
Golf Parent Meeting will be held at the Summerbrooke Clubhouse on Thursday, August 18th at 5:15 PM
CROSS COUNTRY:
Begins: August 16th 3:15 - 4:30
Location: Field House/Lawson’s Course (Pick-up will be in front of the Field House)
Equipment Needed: Water Bottle, Running Attire, Running Shoes
XC Parent Meeting will be held at the Field House on Thursday, August 18th at 4:30 PM
In order to participate in athletics, students are required to have the following forms turned in to either the Middle School or Athletic offices prior to the first practice: EL2 Physical, EL3 Consent*. Forms may be downloaded from the Holy Comforter website under Parent Downloads.
*These forms have been updated. If you have already turned in a previous version, it will still be accepted. There is no need to resubmit the updated version.
