Athletics in Action: XC Takes Home a 1st Place Finish at the Crusader Classic
Our Crusaders continue to roll, as we pick up right where we left off before Hurricane Hermine. The Cross Country team dominated the competition at our first home meet, the Crusader Cross Country Classic. Both boys and girls teams took home the first place trophy. The Runnin' Crusaders hit the road this week for the Alligator Lake Invitational in Lake City, Fl on Saturday.
We had 38 students attend our annual Heart Screening, put on by Who We Play For. The health of our student-athletes continues to be our top priority, and we are always looking for ways to grow and excel in that area.
Thursday is a huge day for the Crusaders. We start with our Pep Rally at 2:00, and in the afternoon we have our Golf team in action at Summerbrooke County Club, and our JV Red and Varsity Volleyball teams take on rival Trinity Catholic here at HCES, matches being played at 4:00 and 5:00.
