Holy Comforter Episcopal Church Dove Lands Home on Fleischmann Road

On Friday, March 25, the dove, affixed to the original church located on Miccosukee Road, was delivered to campus. The dove was gifted to the Church years ago and was a meaningful symbol of the Holy Spirit. When the Church moved to the new building on Fleischmann Road, the dove remained with hope of someday making its way home. Now that the old building will be removed making room for the new TMH Surgical Center, several members of the community pitched in to remove the 14,000lb. symbol and transport it to Fleischmann Road, just in time for Easter. 

 

A memorial garden will be built around the dove.
