Welcome Holy Comforter Families Both New and Old,
One of the things that makes Holy Comforter such a special place for children to grow and learn is the parent involvement you see on campus every day. I have been fortunate to participate as a volunteer on several different committees during the years my children have attended Holy Comforter. As anyone who has volunteered can attest, volunteering is the best way to get to know other parents and children. Volunteering also just feels great. When your son or daughter see you taking time out of your busy schedule to help with an activity or event that matters so much to them, it really makes an impact.
There are countless ways to help. You don’t have to be a gifted flower arranger (although we do need those from time to time), you don’t have to be great at coming up with kids games (but I do love the homeroom moms who can make a game out of masking tape and a bean bag), and you don’t have to make it to every committee meeting. Gotta get to work? No worries, we can tell you what you missed.) You might think your contribution will be too small…  It’s NEVER too small! Sometimes all you can do is send the napkins and plastic forks for the class party.
Come check out the many opportunities to volunteer. I bet you will have a great time helping your kids and our school while getting to know some really wonderful parents and children.
Thanks for your support,

Lisa Umana, PA President 2017-2018
